HERKIMER-Allan Wayne Boepple age 87 passed away peacefully on Monday February 6, 2023 in Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center in Utica.  Allan was born on October 29, 1935 in Little Falls, son of the late Ivan W. and Iva Voorhees Boepple.  A lifelong area resident, he was a graduate of Little Falls High School.  After graduation from high school he went to work on the family dairy farm in Newville.  He worked the farm for forty years until it was sold.  He then  went to work for C.J. Burgess Construction Company in Fort Plain.  He retired in 1982.  On October 6, 1962 he was united in marriage to the former Charlotte Ann Loomis in Little Falls.  They shared a loving and devoted union of fifty-eight years until her passing on May 10, 2021.  Mr. Boepple will always be remembered a caring, hard-working and helpful man.  He was happiest when he was surrounded by his many friends and family, especially his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed.

Surviving him are four sons Cory Boepple and wife Florence of Herkimer, Kenneth Boepple and wife Candy of Richfield Springs, Stacey Boepple, Adam Boepple and his wife Debbie both of Herkimer, a daughter Lisa Boepple of Herkimer, two sisters, Marlene Dillenbeck of Richfield Springs, Lois Boepple of Little Falls, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours for Mr. Boepple will be on Saturday, February 18 th from 2:00 until 4:00 pm in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street; Richfield Springs.  A graveside funeral service will be held later this spring in Twilight Rest Cemetery in the town of Richfield at a time to be announced.
