RICHFIELD SPRINGS - Anna D. (Dyn) Hula, age 86, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2023, with her daughter Catherine and other family members by her side, in the comfort of her daughter's Richfield Springs home.

She was born the daughter of the late John and Julia (Feciatzyn) Dyn and was raised on the Dyn farm in Schuyler Lake, NY, spending her childhood biking, apple picking at Dyn's Cider Mill and roller skating.

She later moved back to the Dyn farm, meeting husband George at a local dancehall. The couple married in 1958 and purchased the "Cullen Cave" dairy farm in Richfield, where they raised their 5 children. In addition to raising a family and working on the farm, Anna was active in 4-H, made beautiful Ukrainian dance costumes and enjoyed gardening. Later in life, Anna worked at NYCM Insurance, at Gus the Bus and her favorite job at Baker's Beach on Canadarago Lake, which her grandkids lovingly called "Baba's Beach".

After farm life, Anna and husband George visited daughter Julia and husband Bill in Hawaii, her favorite vacation spot.  She traveled the East and West coasts, spent a couple winters in Florida and after George's passing lived many years in California alongside son David and wife Rebecca and children, before returning to her hometown where she enjoyed her summers at Baba's Canadarago Lake camp.
