Chad A. Snyder

RICHFIELD SPRINGS – Chad Aaron Snyder age 48, of Main Street passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 28, 2021 in his home.

Chad was born September 9, 1972 in Amsterdam a son of Rosalie Oakes Snyder and the late Ralph Snyder. He was raised and educated locally attending Owen D. Young and Cherry Valley Springfield Schools.

For some time Chad lived in Burlington, Connecticut where he was an auto mechanic at Holland's Garage in Burlington. In 2010 he moved back to Richfield Springs where he became a self-employed carpenter.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, as well as snowmobiling. Chad loved being with his friends. No matter what he was doing he always had time to stop and help a friend out.

He was a friend to many and will never be forgotten.

Surviving him besides his mother Rosalie, are his two daughters Julia and Hannah both of Connecticut, his brother Caffrey Snyder and his wife Trudi of Richfield Springs, his sister Carrie Yaw and her husband William of Schuyler Lake a nephew Tyler Yaw and several cousins.

A time of reflection of Chad's life will be celebrated this spring at a time to be announced. Arrangements are with J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs.
