BURLINGTON FLATS-Cheryl Ann Yager age 62 passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning April 22, 2022 in her home. She was born on April 10, 1959 in Cooperstown, daughter of the late Henry and Ida Harp Bard. A lifelong area resident she was raised and educated in Richfield Springs. On April 28, 1976 she was united in marriage to Steven D. Yager in Fly Creek. Mrs. Yager was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her cherished grandchildren. To everyone she met, Cheryl had a warmth and friendly way about her . She will be sadly missed.
Surviving are her devoted husband of forty-five years Steven, two sons, Scott Yager and his wife Shannon of Ilion, Michael Yager of Burlington Flats, two brothers, David Bard and his wif e Deb of Florida, Michael Bard and his wife Melinda of Burlington Flats, one sister Barbara Welman of Sidney, five grandchildren, Kyle, Gage, Jacob, Braden and Logan Yager, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Lynn Welman.
At Mrs. Yager's request funeral service and interment were private. Funeral arrangements were made with J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home Richfield Springs
