Cindy L. Salomon

WEST WINFIELD – Cindy L. Salomon, age 62, of West Main Street passed away at her home on Monday December 30, 2019.

She was born on April 6, 1957 in Albany a daughter of the late Maxwell and Hazel Weiderman Tomlinson. Raised and educated in the Capital District. After graduating high school she enrolled in the Russell Sage College of Nursing where she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. On June 22 1975 she married John Salomon in Rexford a blessed union of 44 years. Cindy was a Registered Nurse at the Betsy Ross Nursing Home in Rome.

Cindy was a member of the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination. She enjoyed crafting in her spare time as well as shopping and camping. She loved spending time with her dogs and most of all being with her family.

Surviving besides her husband John are 5 sons, Michael Salomon and his wife Michelle of Cobleskill, Andrew Salomon and his wife Jamie of Richfield Springs, Steven Salomon of Schenevus , John James Salomon of West Winfield, Jeremy Salomon of West Winfield, two daughters Diana Salomon of West Winfield, Julie Salomon and her companion Justin Benn of Frankfort, 13 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and her many adoptive children and grandchildren . She was preceded in death by her sister Bonita " Bobbi"Emmons .

Calling hours for Mrs. Salomon will be held on Monday January 6 from 2:00 – 4:00pm with funeral service to follow, with the Reverend Alan Miller officiating, in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in donations to the Betsy Ross Nursing Home residents activity fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
