Daniel M. Girshin

RICHFIELD SPRINGS – Daniel M. Girshin, age 77, of Moyer Road passed away Thursday Evening October 23, 2025 in Bassett Medical Center Cooperstown.

Daniel was born January 7, 1948 in Odessa, Ukraine a son of the late Mark D. and Adele Naigus Girshin. He was raised and educated in Odessa, after high school he furthered his studies at the Odessa Conservatory of Music earning himself a Master's Degree in Music. He was a very talented Cellist, he also played the violin and keyboard.

Daniel was very active and enjoyed exercising, he enjoyed writing especially about philosophy. His Christian religious belief was based on his philosophical beliefs.

He is survived by his three sons; Alexander Girshin and his companion Alexandra of Philadelphia, Thomas Girshin and his wife Kristin of California, Anthony Girshin of Binghamton, six grandchildren, and several cousins.

A funeral service for Mr. Girshin will take place privately at a time convenient to his family.
