David “Mike” Pierce

RICHFIELD SPRINGS – David "Mike" Pierce, age 72, of Park Street died on Sunday June 4, 2023 in Albany Medical Center after a short illness.

He was born on May 14, 1951 in Cooperstown a son of the late Harry W. and Betty Lou Aplin Pierce. He was raised and educated in Richfield Springs graduated from Richfield Springs High School. David was a self-employed commercial painter.

He is survived by two sisters JoAnn Long of Maryland and Thelma Beecher of Richfield Springs and a special niece Tiffany Long also of Richfield Springs.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Charles and Harry.

A celebration of life for Mr. Pierce will be celebrated on Saturday July 1, 2023 at 1:00pm in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs.
