Holly M. Walsh

RICHFIELD SPRINGS-Holly Marie Walsh age 58 passed away peacefully after an extended illness on Monday morning November 29, 2021 in Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown.  Holly was born on December 13, 1962 in Cobleskill, daughter of the late Donald E. and Ida Carroll Walsh.  A lifelong area resident she was edu c a ted in Guilderland High School.  For many years she was a self-employed Home Care Health Aide as well as she was sole housekeeper for the Fountain View for many years  In her leisure time she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and putting puzzles together and watching horror movies on TV . She also loved to cook and bake.

To all who knew her will always remember a caring, fun loving and hard-working lady with a big heart. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her many friends and family especially, her cherished great-nephews Blake and Kayson.  She will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her niece, Krystal Stocking and companion Jeremy MaKuch of West Winfield, three brothers, Jeff Walsh of Richfield Springs, Mike Walsh of Clayville, Donald Walsh and his companion Becky Oldick of Exeter, one sister Pat Coll of Richfield Springs and one granddaughter, Addie Gooding.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Kimberly Stocking.

It was Mrs. Walsh's request that funeral service and interment be private and at the convenience of the family.  Funeral arrangements are with J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street; Richfield Springs.
