Howard H. Seamon

COOPERSTOWN-Howard Herbert Seamon, age 93, of Phoenix Mill Crossroad, formerly of Schuyler Lake passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 in the Cooperstown Center.

Howard was born on April 17, 1931 in Exeter a son to the late Louis S. and Martha M. Domion Seamon, Sr.. He was raised and educated in Schuyler Lake. For many years Howard worked for the Town of Exeter Highway Department.

Surviving him is his wife Margaret "Peggy", a son Howard Seamon and his wife Anita of Sylvester, Georgia, a brother Grant Seamon of Richfield Springs, a sister Elizabeth Collins of Jordanville, Grandchildren Heather and the late Jonathon Nelson of Gretna Nebraska. James Seamon and girlfriend Tiffany Welch of Sylvester, Georgia, Great grandchildren, Brianna, Zach, Levi, Savannah, Marissa and Lee Claude, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by ten brothers; Lee Seamon, Devere Seamon, Fred Seamon, Louis Seamon, Jr., Floyd Seamon, James Seamon, Edward Seamon, Willis Seamon, Harry Seamon and Merton Seamon, five sisters; Marguerite Palmer, Mabel Bond, Virginia Homa, Rose Zenner and Genevieve Spytko.

A celebration of life for Howard will be on Monday April 7th at 1:00 in the Cooperstown Center 128 Phoenix Mill Crossroad, Cooperstown. Following the celebration of life we will lay him to rest at Exeter Center Cemetery.
