RICHFIELD SPRINGS-Ida Marie Miller , age 94 , passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, September 7, 2019 in her home after an extended illness. She had the support and comfort of her loving family at her side.
She was born on February 4, 1925 , in Little Falls, daughter of the late Antonio and Sarafina Evangelista Bisconti . A lifelong area resident she was raised and educated in Little Falls . On September 4, 1949 she was united in marriage to M . Warner Miller in Saint Joseph's Parish House, Little Falls. They made their home at Warner's Farm in Warren. They have been lifelong residents of Warren, except for six years in East Herkimer. Ida and Warner proudly celebrated their 70 th wedding anniversary this past week. Ida led a devoted Catholic life and was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker RC Church in Richfield Springs. She was a member of the Women' s Ch ristian Clu b of Little Falls and the Little Falls Senior Citizens group.
Mrs. Miller will always be remembered as a caring, loving and hopeful lady. Her family was her pride and joy and she was always there for them in good times or bad. She was happiest when she was with her many friends and family especially her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
Surviv ing are her devoted husband of s eventy years, Warner, three children , Leslie Miller and wife Marge, James Miller and wife P amela all of Richfield Springs, Ann Gonyea and her husband Paul of Franklin, MA, seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Dante and Anthony (Bis cuit) Bisconti , two sisters, Rose Lamana and Yolanda Thomason.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 am in Saint Joseph the Worker RC Ch urch, Richfield Springs. Father Silvaster Sarihaddula , Pastor will officiate. Interment will take place at a later time. There are no calling hours.
