James A. Miccioli

RICHFIELD SPRINGS – James A. Miccioli, age 74 of Jordan Road, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026 in his home.

James was born on April 1, 1952 in New London, Connecticut, a son of the late Aldo R. and Frances D. Devine Miccioli. He was raised and educated in New Hampton, Massachusetts and a graduate of New Hampton High School.

After high school James studied at Worcester Polytechnical Institute obtaining a Bachelors Degree Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. After college he worked NAVTEC Inc. as a Production Control Manager, later on he started his own company Sunrise Paint Services a small business painting company that painted trucks and equipment. In 1992 he purchased a dairy farm in Richfield Springs which he operated as the Cedar Hollow Dairy Farm along with his wife, Charlotte. He met Charlotte in 1992 they were a loving couple for many years and on October 12, 2013 they were married on the family farm.

James was all about farm life, known as Mr. Fixit, he enjoyed working on his truck, and restoring things. He enjoyed being with family and friends.

Surviving him are his wife Charlotte, two stepsons; Greg Godlewski and his companion Joanie, Mitchel Jones and his companion Sidney both of Richfield Springs, two step daughters; Alisha Godlewski and her wife Angela of Syracuse, Michele Hubbard of Richfield Springs, a brother William Miccioli and his wife Betty of Waltham, Massachusetts, a sister Maria McGinty and her husband Jack of Andover, Massachusetts, seven grandchildren; Isabella, Lyric, James, Madalyne, Addison, Victoria, Benjamin, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be planned for Saturday August 22nd, 3:00pm at the family farm. Funeral arrangements are with J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home Inc. 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs.
