RICHFIELD SPRINGS – Jean H. Knickerbocker, age 87, of Canadarago Street, passed away on Sunday Morning November 29, 2020 in the home of her son Jonathan and Margaret Knickbocker in Fort Plain.
She was born on August 31, 1933 in Pomona, California a daughter to the late Harriss and Lucile Whitham Hubble. She was raised and educated in the Hudson Valley. On July 1, 1951 she married Raymond Knickerbocker in Hopewell Junction a blessed union of sixty-nine years. They lived for many years in Salt Springville and they later moved to Richfield Springs in 2010.
She was a homemaker dedicated to raising her family. She and her husband Raymond took great pride in remodeling older homes especially the one they currently resided in. She had a strong belief in God and was a member of the Richfield Springs Bible Church and the Christian Womens Club of Richfield Springs.
Besides her husband Raymond she is survived by four sons and their wives, Benjamin Knickerbocker and his Son`i of Wheatland, Wyoming, David Knickerbocker and his wife Deborah of Toccoa, Georgia, Timothy Knickerbocker and his wife Jackie of Clinton Corners, and Jonathan Knickerbocker and his wife Margaret of Fort Plain, two daughters Lucile Burrell and her husband Bryan of Valley Cottage and Nancy Chapman and her husband Glen of Canajoharie. They were so proud of their 19 Grandchildren and their 20 Great-Grandchildren with their latest Great-grandchild being Born November 9th. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers James Hubble and Edgar Hubble.
Funeral services for Mrs. Knickerbocker will be private and at the conveinence of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Richfield Springs Bible Church.
Funeral arrangements are with the J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs.
