Jonathan David Klotzbach

Jonathan David Klotzbach, 49, died in a car accident on February 6, 2024 in Warren, New York.  Jonathan was born on January 20, 1975 in Batavia, New York to David and Barbara (Whittemore) Klotzbach.  He grew up in Plymouth, Massachusetts as a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

He graduated with a bachelor's degree in math from Bridgewater State University and a master's degree in math from Florida Atlantic University.  An avid user of the "Little Professor" math computer game from his youngest years, Jonathan was a gifted math instructor and tutor while in graduate school. He had an exceptional ability to explain complicated math concepts in a way that anyone could understand and shared this gift with his children and friends who were struggling through a college math course.

Jonathan was employed as a senior software engineer at Ribbon Communications for more than 20 years and was highly regarded for his expertise and tremendous work ethic.

Jonathan and his late wife Danielle raised their four children, Sarah, Joshua, Noah and Lydia in Cocoa, Florida where he was an active Elder at Crosswalk Community Church and member of North Brevard Homeschool Association.  In recent years, he and his second wife Georgina lived in the U.K. with their joint family.  Earlier this year, they moved to New York, where their tenth child, a baby girl, Posie, was born the day after his death.

He was devoted to his wife and children and leaves behind family, friends, and co-workers whose lives were enriched by his love, compassion, wisdom, sense of humor, and selfless service to others.

He is survived by his beloved wife Georgina (Daley) Klotzbach and their children: Sarah Rabon (Johnathan), Joshua, Lola, Jude, Noah, Bobby, Arthur, Lydia, Dolly, and Posie.

He is survived by his loving mother Barbara Klotzbach, his two siblings, Laurie Klotzbach Curtis and Philip (Kris), his grandmother Joanne (Kelsey Klotzbach) Hay, his niece Julia Curtis and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was predeceased by his first wife Danielle (Yankovich) Klotzbach and his father David Klotzbach.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
