RICHFIELD SPRINGS
-Marcia Perry age 71 passed away peacefully on Saturday
January 30, 2021 in Ellis Hospital, Schenectady. Marcia was born on December 24,
1949 in Little Falls, daughter of the late Francis Boardman and Helen McDonald
Boardman. She was raised and educated in Little Falls. On July 9, 1983 she was
united in marriage to Claude Irving Perry in West Winfield. For many years she
worked at both the Otesaga and Lake Front Restaurant in Cooperstown, retiring in
2003. Marcia had a strong love for the outdoors and in her younger years spent
her leisure time fishing. To all who knew her will never forget a caring, and
helpful lady with an unforgettable smile. She was happiest when she was
surrounded by her many friends and family especially her cherished grandchildren
and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
Surviving are her devoted husband of thirty-seven years Claude, two sons, Claude
I. Perry III and his wife Melissa of Index, Robert W. Perry and his companion Amy
of New Lisbon, a daughter, Sheila Perry of Richfield Springs, one brother, Francis
Boardman of Little Falls, two sisters, Margaret and Martha both of Herkimer,
Seven grandchildren, Cassandra Perry, Kaitlyn Perry, Bradley Perry and Samantha
Perry,Nicole Sheppard, Amber odell, And skyler Odell three great-grandchildren,
Todd Justin Harper Jr., Justin doxstader and Nathaniel Perry, several nieces,
nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her
daughter Vicky O'Dell.
A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Perry will take place later this spring in
Schuyler Lake Cemetery at a time to be announced. Funeral arrangements are
with J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, Richfield Springs
