Robert Edwards, Sr.

SPRINGFIELD CENTER- Robert Edwards, Sr. age 62, of State Highway 80, passed away on October 1, 2023 in his home.

He was born on January 30, 1961 in Commack, a son of the late Louis A. and Gloria E. Hay Edwards. He was raised and educated in Commack. He worked for Long Island Light Company as a welder.

He is survived by two sons Robert Edwards Jr. of Westminster, Colorado, Andrew Edwards of Utica, a daughter Melissa Edwards of Syracuse, four brothers; Louis Edwards and his wife Jane of Raleigh, North Carolina, Scott Edwards and his Sandra of Ocala, Florida, James Edwards and his wife Rebecca of Leesburg, Florida, Kenneth Edwards of West Boylston, Massachusetts.

Funeral services for Mr. Edwards will be private and held at the convenience of his family.
