Ronnie L Beach

HERKIMER -Ronnie Lynn Beach , age 68 , passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning , October 20, 2018 in Little Falls Hospital.  He had the comfort of his loving family by his side.

He was born on February 15, 1950 , in Little Falls, son of Helen Brown, Beach Neff and the late Lynn Beach.  Ron was raised in Mohawk where he graduated from Mohawk High School.

On September 23, 1989 he was united in marriage to the former Carol Robellard in the Herkimer Reformed Church.  For fifteen years Mr. Beach was employed by the Remington Arms Company in Ilion before going to work as a heavy equipment operator for the Tioga Construction Company in Herkimer.  He retired in 2015.  He was a member of the East Herkimer Volunteer Fire Department and the Coffee Crew at Mona's Diner in Mohawk. Ron was an avid NASCAR fan who always cheered for his favorite drivers, Mark Martin and Kyle Busch.  Sundays in the fall you could always find him rooting for the New York Giants football team.  A man with a true love for the outdoors you could find him outside splitting fire wood and at one time hunting or snow mobiling.  In his leisure time he enjoyed taking Sunday rides with his wife Carol. To all who knew him he was an honest, caring and upright man with an unforgettable smile.  He will be sadly missed by his many friends and family especially his cherished grandchildren.

Surviving him besides his mother Helen Neff, of Mohawk are his devoted wife of twenty-nine years Carol, and daughter Danielle of Herkimer, three sons, Ronnie E. Beach of Schuyler, Derek Beach of Ilion, Kyle Beach of Mohawk, a daughter, Sabrina Beach of MA, one sister Patti Beckwith and her husband Robbi e of Ilion, five grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his step-father John Neff in 2002.

Calling hours for Mr. Beach will be on Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm in Fenner Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Court Street; Herkimer.

Funeral service will take place in the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a m with Pastor Donald King of t he Dennison Corners Church officiating.  Interment will follow in Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion.

Expressions of sympathy may be made with memorial donations to the East Herkimer Volunteer Fire Department or Saint Jude's' Hospital.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
