Sherry Ann Mosher

RICHFIELD SPRINGS – Sherry Ann Mosher, age 63, of Walnut Grove Road passed away peacefully on Sunday January 19, 2025 in her home. She had the loving comfort of her family by her side at the time of her passing.

Sherry was born October 24, 1961 in Herkimer a daughter to the late James R. and Joyce A. Pooler Spencer. She was raised and educated in Richfield and a graduate of Richfield Springs High School with the Class of 1979. For many years she worked in Human Resources for Otsego Manor, retiring in 2023. On August 30, 2014 she married William C. Mosher at their home.

Sherry was one that loved the outdoors, being out on the lake, enjoying time in her pool, or sitting by a bonfire. She loved trips to the casino to play bingo. Her biggest thrill in life was traveling, including memorable camping trips, as well as trips to Cancun Mexico. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She cherished the moments with her grandson, nieces and her boys.

She was a friend to many and will never be forgotten.

Surviving her are her husband William, two sons Christopher Starr (Amanda Tobio) of Richfield Springs and Michael Starr (Katie Brown) of Richfield Springs, a brother Rick Spencer (Michelle Zuba) of Richfield Springs, a sister Deb Farmer and her husband Russ of Watertown, South Dakota a grandson Jace Starr of Richfield Springs, her nieces;  Kaleigh Spencer (Steven), Lynessa James, Kyra Spencer, and a special cousin Lois Boner and her beloved pets Milo and Sarge.

Calling hours for Mrs. Mosher will be on Saturday from 1:00-3:00pm in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs, at the conclusion of calling hours there will be a service at 3:00pm

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Richfield Springs Fire Department Rescue Squad envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
