Virginia L. Nabinger

RICHFIELD SPRINGS – Virginia L. Nabinger, age 67, of Brighton Road passed away on Sunday evening January 30, 2022 in the Cooperstown Center.

Virginia was born on February 6, 1954 in Cooperstown a daughter of the late Charles E Roberts Sr and Betty Pierce Roberts. She was raised in Schuyler Lake and educated in Richfield Springs Schools. After many years of different career paths, she obtained a degree in nursing and became a Licensed Practical Nursing. She had a passion working as a home health aide. She was married to Randy D. Nabinger, who preceded her in death, in 2021.

She dabbled in many hobbies from painting to sewing and doing leatherwork. She spent time rescuing stray cats. She liked to be outside and watch the birds and other wildlife.  She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving her are two sons Robert Edward Coley, III of Oneonta, Randy Lee Nabinger of Richfield Springs, three daughters Casie Coley of Rome, Tanya Coley of Utica and Joanna Onyan of Utica, a brother Charles E Roberts, Jr. and his wife Betty of Naugatuck, Connecticut, two sisters Peggy Dziadik and her husband Tom of Richfield Springs, Marilyn Grogan of Richfield Springs, four grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private funeral service will take place at a time convenient to family .
