Wade Tex Austin Seamon

RICHFIELD SPRINGS-Wade Tex Austin Seamon , age 42 , passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon , March 8, 2021.  He was born on June 19, 1978 in Port s m ou th, VA, son of Tex Louis and Bette Ruth Douglas Seamon .  He was raised and educated in Richfield Springs Central Sch ool.  Mr. Seamon was employed by the Birnie Bus Company in Richfield Springs.  Wade had a strong belief in God and attended the Richfield Springs Bible Church.  In h is leisure time he enjoyed reading, playing board games, Gin Rummy and following his favori te sport : football. He also had an interest in antique cars and collected baseball cards. A ll who knew Wade found him to be a caring, sincere and private man.  Any conversation with him was straight and to the point yet you would have a feeling of warmth and friendship whenever you were with him.  He will be sadly missed.

Surviving , besides his loving parents Bette and Tex are t hree sisters and their husbands, Katie and Radouan e Hamdadi of Richfield Springs, NY and Fes, Morocco, Gwen and Ruben Alvear of Ca tskill, NY, and Amelia Chandler and Terry Smith of Sarasota, FL. Also his grandmother, Marie Seamon , nieces and nephews, Jonah and Sammy Hamdad i , Elijah,  Katelyn and Mia Alvear along with several cousins.

Funeral service for him will be held on Saturday , March 27 th at 1 :00 p m in the Richfield Springs Bible Church.  Pastor David Tosi will officiate.  Interment will be in Twilight Rest Cemetery, Monticello later this spring.  Funeral arrangements are with J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, Richfield Springs.
